About SBI CBO Recruitment 2026
State Bank of India invites online applications from eligible Indian citizens for appointment to the post of Circle Based Officer (CBO). The recruitment is conducted circle-wise, and selected candidates will be posted in the applied circle only.

Educational Qualification
- Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised by the Central Government, including Integrated Dual Degree (IDD).
- Candidates with professional qualifications such as Engineering, Medical, Chartered Accountant (CA), Cost Accountant (ICWA) are also eligible.
Experience Requirement
- Minimum 2 years’ experience (post essential qualification) as on 31 December 2025
- Experience must be as an Officer in:
- Any Scheduled Commercial Bank, or
- Any Regional Rural Bank (RRB) listed in the Second Schedule of RBI
Age Limit (as on 31.12.2025)
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 30 years
- Candidate must have been born between 01.01.1996 and 31.12.2004 (both inclusive)

Local Language Requirement
