• Holding an analogous post on a regular basis in the parent cadre/department; OR
• Having 8 years of regular service as a Junior Secretariat Assistant in Level 2 (₹19,900 – ₹63,200) pay matrix.

🔹 Note: Officers who are already in the line of promotion within the department will not be considered for deputation.

• Assisting the Sectoral Head or Section Officer.
• Managing files, documents, and official correspondence.
• Drafting notes and preparing reports.
• Checking and correcting official papers.
• Preparing monthly and quarterly section reports.
• Guiding Junior Secretariat Assistants as required.
• Carrying out any other task assigned by higher authorities.

These duties play a key role in ensuring efficient office functioning within the NEC Secretariat.
