Roles & Responsibilities

The Data Manager will:

  • Manage, clean, analyze and visualize health data
  • Generate actionable insights from government health platforms
  • Identify data-quality gaps
  • Support baseline and endline assessments
  • Prepare analytical reports for planning and review meetings
  • Support development of training modules for district & block health officials

Key Responsibilities

1️⃣ Data Management & Governance

  • Design and maintain structured databases
  • Develop SOPs and documentation systems
  • Ensure secure storage and confidentiality

2️⃣ Data Quality Assurance

  • Conduct audits and validation checks
  • Monitor data completeness and consistency
  • Develop dashboards and tracking tools

3️⃣ Database & Systems Coordination

  • Streamline data collection workflows
  • Integrate data from multiple platforms
  • Maintain metadata and data dictionaries

4️⃣ Reporting & Documentation

  • Generate periodic reports
  • Prepare analytical datasets for research
  • Develop structured reporting templates

5️⃣ Capacity Support

  • Train staff on data entry and quality standards
  • Provide technical guidance to field teams

6️⃣ Coordination

  • Work with project leads and research teams
  • Liaise with state/district officials
  • Participate in review meetings
