The Office of the District Medical & Health Officer (DM&HO), South Garo Hills, Baghmara, has released an official notification for the recruitment of Medical Officer (Ayurveda) and Medical Officer (Homeopathy) on a contract basis for 1 year. Eligible candidates may attend the walk-in interview on the scheduled date.

1. Medical Officer (Ayurveda)

• No. of Posts: 2
• Salary: ₹50,000/- per month
• Place of Posting: Chokpot CHC, Sibbari PHC

Essential Qualifications

• BAMS degree from a recognized university
• Valid registration with any State ISM / Ayurveda Council
• Preferably 2 years of clinical experience
• Upper Age Limit: 32 years
  • Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST

2. Medical Officer (Homeopathy)

• No. of Posts: 1
• Salary: ₹50,000/- per month
• Place of Posting: Chokpot CHC

Essential Qualifications

• BHMS degree from a recognized university
• Registered with the Board/Council of Homeopathic Medicine, Meghalaya
• Preferably 2 years of clinical experience
• Upper Age Limit: 32 years
  • Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST

General Instructions

• Submit application in the prescribed format with all self-attested documents.
• Bring all original certificates on the day of the interview.
• Candidates must report within the registration time.
• Preference will be given to candidates residing within the PHC/CHC coverage area.
• No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.

• Interview Date: 26th November 2025
• Registration Time: 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM
  • Candidates arriving after 10:30 AM will not be entertained.
