Educational Qualification

Lower Division Assistant (LDA)

SSLC passed
Certificate/Diploma in Computer
Minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute

Weaving Demonstrator

HSSLC / SSLC passed
2 years Certificate Course in Handloom Technology from HTI, Mendipathar
Candidates with 2 years Certificate Course in Handloom from Handloom Training Institute, Mendipathar are eligible for the post of Weaving Demonstrator / Weaving Assistant

Weaving Assistant

Same qualification as Weaving Demonstrator
Age condonation approved by Cabinet on 19 December 2023 for over-aged passed-out trainees (applicable only for this recruitment cycle)

Driver

Class VIII passed
Valid Driving Licence for Light/Medium/Heavy Motor Vehicle
Experience in driving will be preferred

Surveillance Worker

HSSLC passed

Grade-IV

Class VI passed

Age Limit (as on 01 January 2026)

Minimum Age: 18 years
Maximum Age: 32 years

Age Relaxation

5 years for ST / OST / SC candidates (permanent residents of Meghalaya)
PwDs:

- 15 years (ST/OST/SC)
