Pay Scale
Level 7 (₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400) in the pay matrix
(Plus admissible Central Government allowances).
Eligibility Criteria of Intelligence Bureau Recruitment 2025
Nationality: Candidate must be an Indian citizen.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must possess any one of the following:
i) Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in Electronics / Electronics & Telecommunication / Electronics & Communication / Electrical & Electronics / Information Technology / Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Computer Science & Engineering from a recognized University/Institute.
OR
ii) Master’s Degree in Electronics / Computer Science / Physics with Electronics / Electronics & Communication or Master’s in Computer Applications (MCA) from a recognized University/Institute.
GATE Score:
Candidates must have achieved the qualifying GATE score in 2023, 2024, or 2025 in any of the following papers:
- Electronics & Communication (EC)
- Computer Science & Information Technology (CS)
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 27 years
(As on 16.11.2025)
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- Departmental Candidates: Up to 40 years (for Central Govt. civilian employees)
- Widows/Divorced Women: Up to 35 years (UR), 38 years (OBC), 40 years (SC/ST)
- Ex-Servicemen / Meritorious Sportspersons: As per Govt. of India norms
